Our first stop is the Peasant Wine Bar, which is located underneath the popular neighborhood Italian restaurant of the same name. We'll start here, with a recommendation of a pre-crawl dinner upstairs at Peasant. Peasant just might be the prototypical Italian wine bar; a dark, candle-lit space, marked by exposed wooden beams. The service is carefree (or slow, depending on your point of view), and the cheese boards are excellent, if you're hungry.
